As Business Manager for Knowledge Arts Holdings, RJ oversees day-to-day operations, strategic planning, project execution, and business logistics for a growing creative and educational enterprise. Working directly alongside ownership, he manages budgets, travel coordination, vendor relations, event planning, contract management, and the successful execution of projects involving institutions, organizations, and partners across the country and internationally. In addition to managing projects, RJ develops systems and workflows that improve communication, organization, and execution across multiple initiatives. His experience includes coordinating multi-country research initiatives across Europe, managing overseas travel for groups of travelers, and overseeing projects with multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.

RJ manages creative projects, exhibitions, speaking engagements, educational partnerships, public programs, and client relationships for nationally recognized artist Charly Palmer. Serving as a trusted extension of ownership, he coordinates between organizations, institutions, collectors, vendors, and project partners to ensure projects are completed efficiently, professionally, and with exceptional attention to detail. His work requires balancing competing priorities, anticipating challenges, building processes that keep projects moving forward, and maintaining the quality and care expected by both clients and partners.

As a partner with S&W Facilities Services, RJ helps oversee operations supporting major events, conferences, and facilities throughout Atlanta. Working directly with ownership and clients, he supports event staffing, security coordination, audiovisual services, facility maintenance, and operational logistics. Through this work, RJ has helped support large-scale conferences, corporate gatherings, community events, and organizations that require dependable execution, professional staffing, seamless coordination, and strong operational systems behind the scenes.

RJ developed his hospitality and operational leadership experience at The Gathering Spot, one of Atlanta's premier private membership communities. Working closely with leadership and ownership, he managed budgets, coordinated daily operations, supervised teams, contributed to the successful execution of more than 200 events, and helped create systems that enhanced operational efficiency and member experiences. This experience strengthened his ability to anticipate needs, solve problems quickly, manage relationships, and create memorable experiences for members, guests, partners, and stakeholders.

RJ's leadership journey began in logistics as a Dock Manager with JHG Logistics, where he supervised a team of more than 15 personnel while managing route operations, scheduling, workflow efficiency, and daily logistics. This role sharpened his skills in team leadership, accountability, operational planning, process improvement, and execution under pressure. The foundation built in logistics continues to influence his approach today: create systems that work, communicate clearly, solve problems quickly, and always follow through.
